This is the first event of its kind in Ireland and will be an exciting opportunity for people from all sectors interested in service design and design thinking to meet and share their ideas and experience. Delegates will learn about the innovative and transformative ways that Service Design is having an impact in Ireland and internationally.

It is a unique opportunity for delegates to hear first hand from an array of highly influential and respected speakers about the growing range of service design initiatives that are underway in both the public and private sectors. This highly engaging and informative event is expected to attract in the region of 400 delegates.

International speakers include Prof. Birgit Mager (President SDN), Louise Downe (Head of Service Design for the UK Government & GDS), and Sarah Drummond (CEO Snook Service Design Consultants), while national speakers include Pat McLoughlin (NOAC Chairperson) have also been confirmed.

Service rePublic is a new service design centre established in January 2017 by Cork County Council and Cork Institute of Technology. The centre represents a unique partnership between local government and a third level institution and marks the beginning of a new and exciting approach to service delivery in the public sector in Ireland.
